Katherine Heigl started her career as a child model. An aunt, visiting the family in New Canaan, took a number of photographs of Katherine, then aged nine, in a series of poses to advertise a hair care product she had invented. Upon returning to New York, with permission from Katherine's parents, she sent the photos to a number of modeling agencies. Within a few weeks, Katherine had been signed to Wilhelmina, a renowned international modeling agency. Almost immediately, she made her debut in a magazine advertisement and soon followed this with an inaugural television appearance in a national commercial for Cheerios breakfast cereal.

Katherine Heigl made her debut in the coming-of-age film That Night. Heigl co-starred as Isabel Evans in the television series Roswell and movies including My Father the Hero before landing her break-out role in Grey's Anatomy. Heigl has established herself as a cover model appearing on numerous publications including Maxim, Vanity Fair and Cosmopolitan.

Zooey Deschanel got her big break aged 17 playing a model in TV sitcom "Veronica's Closet" (1997). She got her first film role the following year in Mumford (1999). Mostly thanks to a role in Cameron Crowe's popular biopic, Almost Famous (2000), Zooey's rise to fame has been steadily increasing as the 21st century wears on. Her distinctive acting style found her critical acclaim in 2003 when she was voted Best Actress at the Mar Del Plata Film Festival for her role in David Gordon Green's All the Real Girls (2003). She also gained a Best Female Lead nomination (for All the Real Girls (2003)) at the following year's Independent Spirit Awards, but lost out to Charlize Theron.
Zooey Deschanel has appeared in such films as (500) Days of Summer, Our Idiot Brother, Yes Man (opposite Jim Carrey), Elf (opposite Will Farrell), Your Highness, The Happening (opposite Mark Wahlberg), The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and is the star of the FOX sitcom New Girl. Zooey Deschanel also sang (and acted) in the Disney-produced musical, Once Upon a Mattress (2005) (TV).

Emma Roberts is the daughter of Oscar-nominated actor Eric Roberts, and the niece of Oscar-winner Julia Roberts. Emma was a baby when her parents divorced, and she grew up living with her mother, Kelly Cunningham. She was educated at Archer School for Girls in Los Angeles, California.

As a child she spent some time on the sets of movies with her aunt Julia Robert. Her first movie role came in Blow (2001), where she played the daughter of Johnny Depp's character. Various small parts followed, until she was cast in the lead role of Addie Singer in Nickelodeon's "Unfabulous" (2004). Her performance lead to many award nominations as well as a foray into the music industry, including the release of an album, "Unfabulous and More". More roles followed in various projects, including the eponymous heroine in Nancy Drew (2007), Hotel for Dogs (2009), 4.3.2.1 (2010) and Scream 4 (2011). In 2011, Emma Robert began attending Sarah Lawrence College in New York, studying English Literature.

Violante Placido is an Italian actress/singer/songwriter, was born in Rome, she is the daughter of actor/director Michele Placido (of The Caiman) and actress Simonetta Stefanelli (of The Godfather), Violante Placido's made her feature starring debut in Enza Negroni's Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo, adapted from the popular novel of the same name. She made her on-screen debut in Quattro bravi ragazzi (1993) alongside her father Michele Placido. In 1996 she starred in Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo (1996) which became quite successful in Italy. Her first major role was in Sergio Rubini's L'anima gemella (2002) (Soul Mate). In 2006 she released her debut album Don't Be Shy... under the pseudonym Viola. In 2009 she appeared in the Hindi movie Barah Aana (2009). In 2010 she made her Hollywood debut starring alongside George Clooney in Anton Corbijn's thriller The American (2010).
